Branchstar nodded. " Thats good."

"So, um, what should I do? Listen for mice only?" MountainPaw said.

" Scent for mice." He said.

MOuntainpaw stiffened, and immediantly dropped into the position for stalking mice. I smell one. She mouthed.

Branchstar nodded. " Good." He mouthed.

Tawnyfur padded outside. She appeared to be hunting, crouched low, wating for the mouse to come in sight.

Mountainpaw saw the mouse. SHe bunched up her musceles.....

Branchstar nodded, good, good.

*sniff* "Tawnyfur! What if she's hunting the same mouse?" Mountainpaw thought silently. "Nah, probably not." she thought again.
She started to spring......
(Darkstar, if you want, you and I can collide, because we might be going for the same mouse, and we spring at the same time.)

Branchstar smiled and nodded, it all seemed to be happening in slow motion. He watched, and waited for Icepaw to land.

Mountainpaw had almost landed on it...... that was was when she saw a flash of fur.

Branchstar waited paitently for Mountainpaw.

Mountainpaw quickly leaped on top of it. She raised her paw to deal the death blow.......
((The reason I'm slowing down the action, MoonClaw, in case you haven't noticed, is so that if DarkStar wants, she can respond. But she hasn't been here for awhile.))

Branchstar watched, and felt as if it was in slow motion.

Angelpaw was bored. She had no mentor, so no-one could take her out hunting. Maybe the other she and the other apprentices could find something to do, so she went off in search of them.
