"Alright!"She lifted her nose in the air, and smelling mouse, looked for it. She found it fast. It was white, so it stood out in the brown dirt and the green of the forest. She stalked, and once close pounced. She tasted blood. And she killed.

Branchstar nodded approvingly.

Tawnyfur announced that she was taking a patrol. "Anyone up for a patrol?" she asked random cats, padding around camp.

"Come on Starpaw!" Dewpool called.

Starpaw followed Dewpool. " Whats that?" Starpaw asked, her tail pointed toward a big oak tree.

"Do you want me to hunt more, BranchStar?"asked MountainKit.

" if you wish." Branchstar said, stalking a mouse.

Mountainkit carefully padded away, as to not to scare away BranchStar's mouse. Awhile afterwards, Mountainkit had hunted more than she could carry.

Branchstar smiled. She would have her warrior cermony after they got back. " Lets gp." Branchstar said leading the way back to camp.

Silverkit thought she scented the faint scent of proudness on Branchstar. She was content simply to please the leader.

Branchstar dropped his prey and flicked his tail for Silverkit to follow, and padded up to the Great Rock. " Time for your cermony." Branchstar murmured.

"Already?" MountainKit was stunned. It was then that she remembered she had turned exactly 6 moons old at dawn. "Oh. Alright."she said.

Branchstar nodded. " Clan Meeting!" Bramchstar yowled.

MountainKit did not want to act like she was bragging, but couldn't help it. She beamed.

Branchstar smiled at Mountainkit. " From now on, Mountainkit will be known as Mountainpaw." BBranchstar said. " I will be Mountainpaw's mentor." Branchstar announced.

MountainKit, now actually MountainPaw, looked at BranchStar with amazement. To be mentored by the leader- a great honor! Well, she was determined to be known as a great warrior.

Branchstar smiled at Mountainkit. " Clan dissmissed!" Branchstar yowled.

MountainPaw looked around in wonder.

" Would you like to go training?" Branchstar asked.

"Sure!" MountainPaw rumbled with pleasure.

" Fighting or hunting?" Branchstar asked smiling.

"Hmmm.........How about some hunting first?" said MountainPaw, her eyes gleaming with delight.

" Alright." Branchstar said, leading out of camp and into the trees. " You know the basics right?" Branchstar asked.

"I only know how to stalk mice." she said.
