Thunderclan Camp

Moonclaw padded into the warriors den. He curled up and fell asleep, having dreams. He had dreams of Tumblepaw and training her to be a great warrior. Then he had dreams of Berrykit, and how he had called Moonclaw 'Papa' and Speckletail, and there were other kits coming. Moonclaw woke up, he would tell Darkstar later if they could come back, because she was going to have kits soon.

Tumblepaw nodded. She sunggled closer to her Mom. " I know, I was just- just surprised I guess." Tumblepaw said.

Darkstar smiled warmly. "Get some rest, Tumblepaw. Just let all your fears roll off your shoulder" she said, giving her a lick of encouragement on her neck. Darkstar dismissed her and padded away to her own den.

Gingerpool said 'Good night' to her daughter and padded to the warriors den.

Speckletail came when everyone was asleep...she sighed, tears welling up in her eyes as she walked into Moonclaw's den. She padded away after and then picked up Berrykit and walked out of Thunderclan and stood in the gorse entrance and soon fell asleep there...

Berrykit scrambled off into the forest without Speckletail..

Moonclaw woke up. He padded outside restlessly. He saw Speckletail, but not Berrykit. Frightenly, he tryed waking her up. " Where is Berrykit?" Moonclaw asked worried.

Tumblepaw drifted into a sleep.. a nice undisturbed sleep.

Speckletail awoke, but still remained half asleep. "Be-be-Berrykit!" she exclaimed, suddenly remembering, her spine shivering. She looked around and then at Moonclaw. "Oh no..." she said, just under a whisper.

Gingerpool's one eye opened. She hoped nobody would wake her daughter. She tip toed out of the warriors den to spy.

Darkstar sensed it, but she kept in her den.

" Where could Berrykit have gone?" Moonclaw whispered urgently. He looked around franticly, " I think we should go look, outside of camp mabye." Moonclaw whispered.

Tumblepaw rolled over and yawned. She had such a good dream, she was training and she became a warrior and got her warrior name, she had imagened her name, Tumbleheart for some reason. She looked around for her Mom, but remembered that she was in the Warriors Den and fell asleep again.

Speckletail nodded. Her pregnant stomach felt swolen and hurt as she padded closely next to her old mate, wondering if they'd ever find Berrykit. Suddenly, Speckletail felt something odd. She stopped in her place. "Moontail, I-I think my k-kits, they're c-coming" she said, her breath coming to a quick hush.

Gingerpool wondered a bit about Tumblepaw before going to sleep. Unusually, she had gotten a message from Starclan. A cat, her mother, to be exact, came to her in her dream, that was now lying in Starclan. The cat was bright, and practically unseen, like the sun. The cat spoke to her in magical words, "Gingerpool, you must do something. More cats will die. Fate lies ahead.." and the voice drifted off. Gingerpool awoke, sweating everywhere.

~Morning. Speckletail and Moonclaw were still gone.

Darkstar called Gingerpool to her den to talk to her about the dream. Somehow, Darkstar had sensed it.

Moonclaw paniced a bit. " S-should we go tell Darkstar, or somebody?" Moonclaw asked franticly.

Tumblepaw awoke. She stretched and looked for her Mother, she wanted to say 'Good Morning' to her. Tumblepaw padded out of the den, looking around.

(Of course, Icepool. It's Darkstar now, I've gotten my Warrior name in Thunderclan)

"U-uh, you go back and tell, I-I'" and with that her breath was almost gone..gone forever. "I..I've..always...loved...you..Moonclaw..find Berrykit..get my k-kits out..before, I-I di..die" she said. She was panting, struggling to breath to save her kits.

Gingerpool bounded out of camp, and found the two. "Moonclaw, go get Darkstar and Tumblepaw, and go look for Berrykit. I'll get Speckletail's kits out" she said, tears making pools in her eyes, she reached down to get her kits out.

Darkstar was awake, munching on a mouse in her den.

Moonclaw sprinted toward Darkstar. " Darkstar.. Berrykit went missing and Speckletail is having her kits..." Moonclaw breathlessly said, tears welled up in his eyes.

Tumblepaw saw her Mom outside and sprinted over, " Whats going on? " Tumblepaw asked seeing Specklerail and her Mom having tears.

icekit bounded out of the nursery to see darkrose and moonclaw. she badly wanted to be part of the action. she knew she couldn't though. she was just a kit. "grrrrrrrr........."she muttered,frustrated.

Gingerpool delievered Speckletail's kits, just in time. Speckletail said on one last breath, "Tell Berrykit I love her. Moonclaw I love you. I'm sorry Gingerpool and Darkstar" and with that she slipped off to Starclan. Something went wrong with the birth and it caused her to die.

Gingerpool gave one kit to Moonclaw to carry back. She gave one to Darkstar, who held it with her head down. She gave one to Tumblepaw.

There were three kits.

They all stumbled back to camp..leaving Speckletail laying in the dust.

The kits mewed and mewed. Gingerpool was going to suckle them, with hope that she still had milk left.

When they entered the camp, Gingerpool took all the kits and began suckling them in the nursery.

Darkstar approached Icekit, in spite of what just happened. "Hello, Icekit" she purred.

Moonclaw mouned. He sat next to Speckletail, " I love you.." Moonclaw murmured to Speckletail.

Tumblepaw saw Moonclaw and felt sad for him.

(Yes, but Speckletail died when delievering kits. Gingerpool is suckling the new three kits)

Moonclaw padded over to the kits. He wanted to get a good look at Speckletail's and his kits.

icekit stuttered. she was amazed that the clan leader had taken notice of one little kit, when all this action was happenning. "I guess there will be new kits in the nursery."she meowed.

Gingerpool was half sad and half excited. She pointed to one of them with her paw. "That one looks exactly like you" she said.

Darkstar looked at Icekit and nodded. "Yes, Icekit" she purred. She added, "I have a mission for you, Icekit. If you survive this, you will become an apprentice, after all you are almost 6 moons" she said.

The kit that Gingerpool looked at mewed.

Moonclaw looked at the kit, " Yes." Moonclaw murmured. A single tear fell down when he saw a kit that looked like Speckletail. He pointed to the kit, " This should be Specklekit." Moonclaw said. " The others.. I'll have to think." Moonclaw said, looking at Speckletail's kits, his kits.

icekit was happy. she was grateful someone had finally taken notice of her. she was an orphan,(at least, no trace of her parents have been found) so she was usually alone, execpt for her adoptive mother. She had one step-brother, but he was older, and no fun. "a mission from the leader is better than staying in a boring nursery."she muttered. "I will do it! what is the mission?" she purred.

"I have an idea" Gingerpool said. "You might want to name one Hawkkit. The one that looks like you" she said softly, realizing Moonclaw's pain.

"This mission is.." she said, sighing, looking back at the nursery. "I need you to find Berrykit, one of Moonclaw and Speckletail's kits. She is small and she looks a lot like a mixture of the two" she said.

Moonclaw nodded. " What shall we name the last one? " Moonclaw asked, looking at Hawkkit and Specklekit. And finally looking at the last kit.

Tumblepaw padded into where her Mom and Moonclaw was. She saw the kits. " Whats the names? " Tumblepaw asked her Mom softly.

"She's special. Name her something..special. I'll give you a suggestion. You don't have to name it that but how about Shimmerkit?" Gingerpool suggested.

Darkstar was finished chatting with Icekit. She watched her as she padded out of camp. "Hawkkit and Specklekit. No name for the last she-cat" she said, a little bit over a whisper.

" I know, how about Sparklekit? I like Sparklekit as a name." Moonclaw said. He looked at his kits, and felt happy for once after Speckletail had gone to StarClan.

" I like that name!" Tumblepaw said, trying to cheer Moonclaw up.

( So, I'll play Sparklekit and Berrykit?)

Gingerpool nodded. "Wonderful" she said.

(Berrykit? I thought I was playing Berrykit? If you want though.)
