Whitetail smiled. "Let's stop complimenting each other, we do have some responsibilities." she blinked, but her eyelashes slowly trailed along. Whitetail did NOT need mascara. She smiled again. "C'mon," she said, her tail flicking, walking a few steps away from him.

Sparrowfeather followed. "Dawnstar said I could lead a patrol, want to come?" He asked Whitetail.

Whitetail smiled. "Sure."
((Remember, no strong romance? Do you think this is too strong?))

Sparrowfeather started out of camp..

Whitetail went after him.

Sparrowfeather went past the western boarder, nothing new, as with the east and the south. He trotted toward the Nothern, and sniffed the air. His tail shot up. FOX!

"Ugh." Whitetail sniffed again. "Oh dear." she sighed. "Should I go back and tell Dawnstar?" Whitetail gently asked.

Sparrowfeather nodded. "Yeah, I'll see if the foxes are around." He said, the fox scent was fresh.

Whitetail raced back to camp. "Dawnstar!" she called.

Dawnstar peered at Whitetail. "Yes, Whitetail?" She asked

Sparrowfeather heard the foxes snarling, and he jumped, and slashed. The fox fought, but Sparrowfeather did too.

"Foxes! There are foxes in our territory! Sparrowfeather is fighting them off now! Near the Nothern Border!" Whitetail gasped.

Dawnstar's eyes widened. "C'mon then!" She raced out of camp with great speed.

The fix snapped huge teeth at Sparrowfeather, catching his taill. Sparrowfeather yowled loudly, veyr loudly, with pain. He slashed feebly at the fox, and the fox bit his ear. Sparrowfeather fought harder, slashing and biting.

In what seemed like slow-motion, WhiteTail finally reached the place of battle. She bit her teeth into the neck of a fox trying to snap at SparrowFeather. WhiteTail heaved the fox away. "Hrrrr.." she growled.

The fox snapped ouut sharp claws towards Whitetail's face, and Dawnstar jumped in front, slashing hard. The fox stumbled backwards, and over a cliff edge.

Whitetail's tail-tip brushed her cheek. In a flash of white fur and red blood, a fox lay stunned on the ground.
