"Watermint" Streampool meowed "and lavender"

Tumbleheart nodded. She nimbly and swiftly pawed through the moss nests and to the herbs. She sniffed out the Watermint and the lavender. She grabbed a jawful of each and padded back to the sick cat. She put the herbs under her nose, " Eat them." Tumbleheart said.

Streampool gulped down the herbs.

Tumbleheart nodded. They were low on Watermint but had plenty of Chervile. " Thats good.." Tumbleheart murmured to herself.

StreamPelt rushed in. "What's going on?" she said. Then she saw StreamPool. "Oh! Dear!" She sniffed StreamPool. She smelled watermint and lavender. Just what she would have used. "She definetly has GreenCough." said StreamPelt. StreamPelt turned to TumbleHeart. "You did an excellent job taking care of her. Shame you aren't a medicine cat apprentice. Still, you make a fine warrior as well." she complimented her.

SnowStar stared at StreamPool in disbelief. She had kept it a secret that her deputy was sick. Only the medicine cat knew. But now, she felt like groaning: First my deputy got sick, and now a nursery queen! Who else will get sick? And she thought that in her mind, because TumbleHeart and StreamPool were there.

WaterKit looked at her foster mother in amazment.

Tumbleheart was suprised to be praised by the medicine cat. Can you become a medicine cat.. while your a warrior? Tumbleheart wondered.

Streampool coughed and groaned her head hurt so badly "My head hurts" Streampool
meowed

Tumbleheart thought of all the herbs. " Feaverfew?" Tumbleheart murmured as she padded toward teh herbs.

"No poppyseeds" Streampool groaned.

" Okay." Tumbleheart said. Stupid mistake.. Tumbleheart thought. She licked her paw and touched it to the poppy seeds. She padded with that paw up toward Streampool. She lifted her paw up so Streampool could lick them off. Stupid Leaf-Bare.. Tumbleheart though, what with Green-Cough and all. She wondered again if warriors could become medicine cats.

Streampool gulped down the seeds and sighed "water please and a small mouse" Streampool moaned.

Tumbleheart nodded. She got some moss and soaked it in a small trickling stream in the den. She gave that to Streampool and then raced to the fresh-kill pile and got a small mouse. She bounded back and carefully set it in front of Streampool.

Streampool drank the water and ate some of the mouse "thanks" she murmured as she fell asleep

Tumbleheart nodded. She would've asked Streampool her question but she wanted Streampool to sleep. She reoriganized the herbs,.

Streampool felt worse she woke up yowling a few hours later.

Tumbleheart padded over to Streampool. " Whats wrong?" Tumbleheart asked, concerned.

"Hard to breathe" she moaned (coltsfoot)

( I know, I pulled up a page on all the herbs and there uses.)

Tumbleheart nodded. She knew the herb for that. She swift but carefully found the herb and picked up a jawful. She padded swiftly back to Streampool. She placed the herb in front of her.

(chew it into a pulp) Streampool moved her head it was not fit to be eaten yet.

( Sorry..)

Tumbleheart was getting ready to chew it into a pulp. She chewed it and spit it out.
( I am bad at this..)

Streampool gulped it down and sat up.

" Are you better?" Tumbleheart asked. " Or at least sort of better." Tumbleheart said,

"Better" Streampool panted.

Tumbleheart nodded thankfully.
