The Story of Legend

"And what is it?" Catherine followed up. She thought Branch might feel a bit uncomfortable around all the cats...she shifted into a light brown wolf with gray and black specks, + light blue eyes.

Stream's eyes clouded over. " That is what happened to my father. He attacked the innocent. He went into large cities and... attacked. They had to send out warriors to get side of him... he died. And we don't want that happenind to Lilic! We have to go! Now! There is a stream on the side of the mountain. That water heals the bite. Yes, the bite happened to my dad too. But he ran off because we were to slow. We need to leave tonight." Stream dashed off into the forest.

Branch smiled at Catherine. "Nothing. C'mon, lets go!" He said, and dashed after Stream.

Catherine trotted ahead. As she walked, her fur turned slowly from brown to pure white as she got closer and closer to the snow.

Branch's paws pounded in rhythm as he hit the rough and icy ground. He smiled a wolfy and toothy grin, and shook his brown fur, sending water drops everywhere.

Catherine skipped over the flying water droplets and splattered puddles. "C'mon, you guys!"

Branch quickened his pace, and smiled.

Cathierine stood on a rock, white fur glittering in the sunlight. She sat paitiently for the others to catch up.

Stream lunged past the rock and grabbed the evil mountain lion's neck. It thrashed and clawed at Stream, but she wouldn't let go.

"Evil everything, eh?" Branch said to himself, and pounced hard at the lion as well.

Stream laughed as she clawed at the lion as it roared in pain.

Branch grinned, and raked his claws against the lion with all his might. The lion roared, and a paw came flying right at Branch. Not having enough time to react, Branch flew backwards, and he was starting to bleed. Red was starting to splatter upon his fur, he panted, and growled, his eyes deep and furious. He snarled, and leaped at the lion.

Catherine looked at the furious battle happening in front of her very eyes. She simply thought nothing of her own peril-just Brakch's. She didn't notcie Stream, for some reason. She just saw Branch, bravely attacking the lion-but bleeding. Catherine launched herself in, and clawed the lion's ear, then battered the belly, nipped the mountain lion's legs. She snarled at it's shadowy eyes. She snapped at it's muscualar back. Catherine was soon covered in blood and dust, not sure if the blood was her's or the lion's, but she didn't care. She clenched her teeth into it's nose, and settled down, waiting for pain to visit the mountain lion.

The lion roared in fury, and pain. The lion nipped with sharp teeth at Catherine, and got very close. Branch growled, and only saw Catherine for a moment. He snarled, and bit the lion on the neck, and scraped every scrap of skin, fur anything of the lion he could reach,

Catherine locked eyes with Branch. Then she growled. She leaped onto the lion's head, and dug her claws onto it's ear. The lion roared with pain. She leaped over Branch and landed on the other side of the lion. Quickly, she darted underneath, and clawed it's chest and belly. Then she knocked the lion's leg, unbalancing it, and whizzed out from underneath.
