Stream jumped off the bear as it raged and roared. She gripped hard on the bear's leg.It bled fiercely. Stream kept her grip.

Catherine waited as the huge bear roared. Waited for the oppurtuinity. (I know, it's spelled wrong!) She gasped as she saw a huge black paw about to hit her- she barely leaned far away enough. But she had no time to rest. The shadow bear grabbed at her, then shook her off. Then it lumbered about, smashing down it's great paws, trying to squash her like a fly. Luckily, the swift black cat agily dodge every blow.

Stream jumped on the bear. It thrashed its head to side to side. Stream was thrown to the side. She was motionless. The bear came over to her.Stream was only pretending. When the bear was about to hit her with a claw, she bit its belly. The bear rage in pain and tottered off.

Branch's brown fur shone brightly as he galloped into a clearing, his paws pounding the ground. He saw some animals fighting bears. Branch grinned, a toothy grin, and leaped into the battle. A third bear showed up, and Branch jumped onto its back, digging his claws in.

Catherine dodged one last blow and sunk her teeth deep into the shadow bear's leg. it yelped from the pain. Catherine sunk deeper and felt...bone? She let go and the huge creature limped and lumbered away.

Stream looked at Branch. She wondered if he were here, too, to defeat the evil.

Branch growled at the shadow bear struck at him, he barely got touched, and bit down hard onto the large thing. It roared, and Branch then raked his claws at any piece of the bear he could.

Stream leaped onto the bear Branch was fighting, and clawed its head.

The bear roared once more, and started to tip to the side.. Falling.. Branch leaped out of the way swiftly, and turned to see the bear falling slowly down..

Stream looked at Branch. " So you are here to fight the evil. Because we need to travel a long way."

Branch almost laughed out loud. He just fought a giant evil bear! "Yeah. I'm here to fight."

Stream managed a laugh. Then she said seriously, " Listen. We will have to fight much worse than this. We will have to travel over the worst terrain imaginable. Are you sure you want to under take this?"
